Services

What we drive, and how we drive it.

Non-emergency medical transportation for people in Milwaukee and southeastern Wisconsin. All rides are arranged through a health plan, Wisconsin Medicaid, or a broker.

Our services

Six things we do, every trip.

Ambulatory rides

Walk-on

For passengers who can walk on their own or with a cane or walker. Our drivers will help you to and from the vehicle, and will walk you to the door of your appointment if you would like.

Wheelchair-accessible transport

Lift equipped

Vehicles with ramps or lifts and proper wheelchair securement. Tell us whether you use a manual or power chair, and whether you will be riding in it, so we send the right vehicle.

Door-to-door service

No bus stops

No need to get to a bus stop or a pickup corner. We come to your door and take you to the entrance of your appointment.

Round trips and returns

Both legs

Most medical trips are two rides: one there and one home. When we confirm with you, we confirm both so you are not left waiting when your appointment ends.

Ride confirmations

Phone or text

A day or two before your ride, we contact you to confirm the pickup time and address. We can call you, or — if you prefer and you have agreed to it — send a text message. See our Text Message Terms.

Rides across southeastern Wisconsin

Regional

We serve Milwaukee and the surrounding area, including trips to and from hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers, and therapy appointments throughout the region.

Arranging a ride

We cannot book a ride directly. Here is why.

Medical transportation has to be authorized first, so that it is covered at no cost to you.

  1. 01 / 03

    Contact your plan or broker

Call the transportation phone number on your health plan card, or the broker your plan uses. Tell them the date, time, and address of your appointment.

  2. 02 / 03

They assign the trip to us

Once your ride is authorized, the broker sends us the trip details. You do not need to call us to make this happen.

  3. 03 / 03

    We confirm with you

We will contact you before the ride to confirm. If something has changed — a different time, a different address, you no longer need the ride — tell us then, and we will help sort it out.

Accessibility

Tell us what you need, and we send the right vehicle.

  • Wheelchair securement Every wheelchair passenger is secured by the driver before the vehicle moves, using the vehicle’s tie-down system. Standard
  • Service animals Welcome at no extra charge. Tell us in advance so we send an appropriate vehicle. No charge
  • Escorts and companions An escort may ride with you when it is authorized and we have been told in advance, since seating is limited. Advance notice
  • Getting to the door Drivers will walk you to the entrance of your appointment if you would like, and will help with the door. On request
  • This website We want it to be usable by everyone. If any part is hard to read or use, call us and we will help you directly. Call us
